Beautiful Noises processes audio and video files to provide stem separation, soundtrack extraction, conversion, MIDI, notation, spectrogram, and related project outputs. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who may receive it, and how long project files remain available.
1. Information we collect
- Uploaded media and project outputs: audio or video you submit and generated files such as stems, extracted soundtracks, muted video, spectrograms, MIDI, notation drafts, conversions, and ZIP packages.
- Account information: email address and securely hashed password when you register.
- Transaction and entitlement information: Stripe checkout identifiers, payment status, purchased features, and durable unlock or ownership records. Beautiful Noises does not receive or store your full card number.
- Technical and support information: request logs, job status, error information, filenames, timestamps, and information you send when requesting support.
- Analytics information: page visits and interaction events only when you accept analytics consent.
2. How we use information
- Process your upload and deliver requested previews, stems, downloads, conversions, video outputs, MIDI, notation, and analysis.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
- Process payments, preserve purchases and unlocks, prevent fraud or abuse, and respond to support requests.
- Measure site use through Google Analytics when you consent.
3. Sharing and access
We do not sell or rent your personal data or uploaded media. Uploaded projects are not public. We use service providers as needed to operate the service, including hosting infrastructure, Stripe for payments, and Google Analytics only when you consent. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, protect users or the service, or respond to a support request.
Access to uploaded media is limited to systems and authorized personnel that need it to process, secure, troubleshoot, or support the service. Anyone who receives a working project or download link from you may also be able to access the linked material, so treat project links as private.
4. File retention and deletion
- Guest and session projects: uploaded media and generated outputs are normally retained for up to 48 hours after the newest project-file activity.
- Registered-account projects: project files are normally retained for up to 30 days after the newest project-file activity.
- Paid or unlocked projects: project files are normally retained for up to 30 days after the newest project-file activity.
- Active and recent work: active jobs and files touched during the most recent six-hour safety window are excluded from that cleanup run.
- Earlier deletion: project files may be permanently deleted sooner through My Uploads where that control is available.
These periods are maximum operational windows, not guarantees that files will remain continuously available. Download completed work promptly and keep your own copies.
Media cleanup does not remove account, payment, Stripe fulfillment, ownership, or durable unlock records. Those records may be retained as reasonably necessary for transactions, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, legal obligations, and service administration.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies for sessions and preferences. Google Analytics loads only after you accept analytics consent. You can decline or reset that choice by clearing browser storage.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service and the information we process. No internet service can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability.
7. Your choices
You may decline analytics, delete eligible project files through My Uploads, and contact us to ask about your account or personal information. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, transaction, or fraud-prevention purposes.
8. Contact
Questions or privacy requests may be submitted through our Contact page.
